When Mora, a promising, albeit cocky, reaper-in-training with a penchant for shortcuts and necromancy, accidentally shortens a human's lifespan, she’ll have to fix her mistake or risk getting kicked out of the Underworld's Reaper Academy. But when she starts to fall for Clay, the sardonic teen outcast she’s trying to save, she’ll have to make a choice between her lifelong ambition of revolutionizing reaping and the love she doesn’t want to lose. Through Clay, Mora learns to live life to its fullest and appreciate every second of it.
